Board of Directors

The Board of Directors at Howdens is made up of two Executive Directors, the Non-Executive Chair and a number of independent Non-Executive Directors. This combination of independent, external appointments and internal appointments ensures that the appropriate diversity of experience, knowledge and perspectives necessary to ensure the long-term sustainable success of the company are represented on the Board.  It also ensures that one group cannot dominate decision-making. Our Non-Executive Directors do not receive any performance-related pay, which ensures they remain independent and objective. Each member of the Board is subject to an annual vote by shareholders to remain on the Board.
