Director Apointment

Galiform plc, the parent company of Howdens Joinery, is pleased to announce the appointment of Tiffany Hall as an independent non-executive director, with effect from 24 May 2010. She will also be a member of the Audit, Remuneration and Nomination Committees.

Currently Interim Group Marketing Director at BUPA, Tiffany was previously Head of Marketing at British Airways responsible for product development, marketing communications, ba.com and contact centres. She was also Chairman of Airmiles and BA Holidays. Prior to that, she held various positions at British Airways including Head of Global Sales and Distribution and Head of UK Sales and Marketing. Tiffany was previously a non executive director of Think London.

Commenting on the appointment, Will Samuel, Chairman, said, "We are delighted that Tiffany has agreed to join the Board as a non-executive director. Her strong background in marketing and customer services will enable her to make an important contribution to the Galiform Board".  

There is no further information which is required to be disclosed in accordance with 9.6.13R of the Listing Rules.

Annual General Meeting

Galiform Plc is also holding its Annual General Meeting today. No new information on current trading will be given during the meeting.

Galiform will release its 2010 Half Yearly Report on 21 July 2010.
