Founded in 1995, Howdens has grown from just 14 depots to more than 700 across the UK and Europe thanks to the success of our trade-only model. We only sell to trade who have the expertise to ensure that our products are fitted to the highest possible standard. Our local depots build trusted partnerships with trade professionals, helping them to exceed their customers’ expectations and allowing their businesses and ours to profit from doing so. What underpins this model is a powerful combination of locally empowered depot management and a dedicated supply chain that can deliver an in-stock product framework that is both efficient and cost-effective.

Trade service and convenience

Saving time is important to trade professionals along with building a good reputation. We recognise having depots close and products available will keep their businesses performing at their best. This means we focus on opening depots where our customers need them, products are always in stock, and our design service is accessible to their customers, so we take care of kitchen planning for them from design to delivery whatever scale of the project.
