Matthew Ingle
Chief Executive OfficerMatthew was appointed Chief Executive on 3 October 2005. He set up Howden Joinery in 1995 and has been responsible for its growth into a successful business today. Prior to joining the Company he had been Managing Director of the Magnet Trade operation. He was elected to the Board of the Company in 1998.

Mark Robson
Chief Financial OfficerMark joined the Board in April 2005 as Chief Financial Officer. Mark spent the previous six years as Group Finance Director at Delta plc. Prior to this, he had held a number of senior financial positions with ICI between 1985 and 1998. He is a Chartered Accountant and qualified with Price Waterhouse.

Theresa Keating
Group Financial ControllerTheresa joined the Group Finance team in 2000 having previously held various commercial finance roles at Waterstones, HMV and Heals. She was promoted to Group Financial Controller in 2007.

Rob Fenwick
Chief Operating Officer: Howden Joinery Supply DivisionRob joined the group in January 2001 and has held various supply chain positions within the group. Since October 2005, he has been responsible for transforming the Supply Division from a vertically integrated operation to a commercial organisation. Prior to joining Howden Joinery Group Plc, Rob worked in the automotive, FMCG and other industry sectors.

Julie French
HR DirectorJulie joined the group in September 2002 and was appointed HR Director of the Supply Division in 2006. Prior to joining Howden Joinery, she held a number of roles in HR management across a variety of sectors (Retail, Banking, Manufacturing, Waste industry and Education) including a period as a Freelance Consultant and Non-Executive Director. She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) and has a Masters Degree in Strategic Human Resource Management.

Chris Youell
Chief Operating Officer: Howden Joinery Trade DivisionChris was appointed Chief Operating Officer of the Howden Joinery Trade Division in October 2005. He was a key member of the original Howdens management team that established the business in 1995. Chris joined the Group in 1982 and held various senior financial roles prior to his involvement in Howden Joinery.

David Hallett
Chief Information OfficerDavid joined the Company in September 2005 as Chief Information Officer. Prior to joining, he held a number of senior IT positions with major retailers including Littlewoods, Argos, Dixons Stores Group and Laura Ashley.

Andy Witts
Sales DirectorAndy was one of the founding members of the Howden Joinery depot management team, joining from Magnet in 1995. Andy was promoted from the Regional team to become Sales Director in January 2007.

Caroline Bishop
Company SecretaryCaroline joined the Group in September 2007 as Company Secretary. Caroline spent the previous seven years as Company Secretary of Business Systems Group Holdings plc and prior to that held various roles within the Securitisation and Specialised Finance divisions of Greenwich NatWest.
